I was experiencing a heavy, sticky, thin, yellow/brown discharge. I was tested for chlamydia and gonorrhea and treated prophylactically with IM Rocephin and Doxycycline. The discharge resolved two days later, but the tests were negative for both infections. Can you tell me what you think was causing this? Do you think the tests were a false negative? I had a partial hysterectomy seven years ago and a new sex partner about a month ago.
