I’m a late twenties female with well-controlled diabetes (average A1C of 6.1). About a month ago, I developed sixth nerve palsy, causing double vision. My MRI revealed two lesions, but no stroke-like evidence or tumors. The CT scan was clear. I've been told it could be multiple sclerosis (MS) due to my age and the lesions, but my GP was unsure. I have had tingling in my hands and feet over the past year, and the night before the nerve palsy, I experienced severe pins and needles in my hand. Could these symptoms be related?
