I’m taking Paxlovid for Covid and it’s giving me diarrhea. My anus is so raw it bleeds, and it hurts to sit. I’ve been using coconut oil, but it helps only a little. What can I do to alleviate the pain and discomfort, especially since I have one more day of the medication?

I have symptoms of undigested yellow stool, stomach pain after eating donuts and oranges, long stools causing anal pain, stomach growling after eating donuts, and acid reflux. I'm wondering if I also have gastritis or what could this be, so I can do home remedies before my doctor's appointment.

I have been diagnosed with HSV2 and prescribed acyclovir pills and ointment. The ointment has caused severe burning, swelling, and redness of the foreskin. I am a lung transplant recipient on multiple anti-rejection medications and am currently in Thailand. Can you advise me on whether I should continue using the ointment due to the severe adverse reaction?

My son has a wet chest cough that has been present for about 2 weeks. It is worse during the day and evening but occurs throughout the day. He is 2 years old and is currently using Strodal. He has no other symptoms except a bit of a runny nose. What can be done to help him, and does he need antibiotics?

I woke up with chills, vomit, and had to use the bathroom. I am on vacation and not sure if it’s a virus. Once I threw up, the chills stopped. What can this be? I had no diarrhea but did need to go to the bathroom.

I had an injection site reaction to a GLP1 medication (Trulicity) and am trying to figure out if this means I have an allergy that would prevent me from using an oral GLP1 medication. I didn’t have any systemic symptoms, just a red, raised itchy area around the injection site. I used the medication for six weeks without incident, then started developing the injection site reaction. I was rotating the injection site so that wasn’t the issue. I have photos if that would help. I discontinued use of the medication after two weeks with the site reaction. I need to get back on another medication for blood sugar and would like to use Rybelsus but my doctor said he was hesitant due to the response to the Trulicity injection. I’m wanting a second opinion as to whether it is a true allergy.
