I have pain in the right side of my back, approximately 6 inches from my waist and right under my ribs. The pain has been constant for a couple of days and is not unbearable. I have tried acetaminophen but have not seen a doctor yet. I have hypertension and a heart stent. The pain does not move, and my urine is clear with no burning sensation. Laying down makes the pain worse, and it started suddenly. I do not have a fever and otherwise feel normal. What could be causing this pain, and what should I do?

Every so often, my nose starts bleeding after showers. I haven't talked to a doctor yet due to lack of health coverage. My symptoms include occasional runny nose and feeling like my temples are swelling. I'm 28 years old, not on any medication, and bathe in hot water. I'm concerned it might be temporal arteritis, but I don't have major symptoms like migraines. What could be causing this and what should I do?

I had two surgeries in the past three months: a partial thyroidectomy and a completion thyroidectomy for hyperthyroidism. During the first surgery, I lost 600 cc of blood, and I am now anemic with low hemoglobin (10.1) and other related low levels. Is this anemia due to the surgeries, and should I be taking supplements? Also, after the surgeries, I had to stop thyroid replacement and go back on methimazole because my free T4 level became very high, and I was exhibiting hyperthyroid symptoms. I no longer have a thyroid. When can I expect my hemoglobin to return to normal, and when will my thyroid hormone levels settle down to a hypothyroid state?
