I am experiencing a weird sensation where my throat feels like it's closing for a quick second. It happens off and on, only for a split second, and it feels like a hiccup but isn't. I thought it might be acid reflux, so I took Nexium 20mg, which helped for a little bit but the sensation came back. It seems to have started a little after I took my inhaler medicine, which I use for asthma-like symptoms due to allergies. Is there a name for what is happening?

I think I might be pregnant. I started using the NuvaRing on 5/27/19 and had sex with a condom on 6/5/19, but I couldn't find my ring afterward. I put a new one in on 6/6/19.
