My wife, who was a smoker and is now in her mid-30s, stopped smoking with the help of Chantix and developed chronic respiratory issues, including wheezing, a chronic cough, and frequent respiratory infections. She has been diagnosed with COPD and has nasal polyps. Despite various treatments, including allergy medications, inhalers, and Prednisone, she continues to experience severe respiratory problems, often requiring ER visits. Her quality of life has been significantly impacted. What additional steps or treatments can we consider to manage her condition effectively?

I have had a chronic intermittent cough for many years, likely due to post nasal drip or upper respiratory issues. I am a 67-year-old female with a history of reflux and AFIB, currently on Diltiazem and Sotalol. My current bout of coughing started in October 2010 and has recently improved after being diagnosed with a sinus infection and treated with Amoxicillin. However, I now have a sore throat, a 'lump in my throat' sensation, difficulty swallowing, and anxiety. I was recently prescribed XZthromicin for a mild ear infection but experienced severe symptoms possibly due to a drug interaction. What should I do next?
