I've been taking Prilosec OTC for 6 days and today I had a bowel movement where my stool was light in color. I'm wondering if it's the Prilosec or something else. The Prilosec has helped a lot, and there have been no side effects. I'm currently only taking Prilosec and occasionally Pepcid Complete if needed. I'm 32 and have no known liver or gall bladder issues. This is the first time I've had light color stools. Are there any other symptoms I should watch for, and how long can the stool discoloration caused by Prilosec last?
