I’ve suspected I have a thyroid issue for a couple of years now. I was borderline hypothyroid 2 years ago and weighed 165lbs. Over the last 2 years, my sleep has deteriorated, my anxiety is severe, and I have lost 45 pounds without significant effort. My recent bloodwork showed hyperthyroid levels for TSH and extremely high thyroglobulin levels. My old doctor wanted to refer me to an endocrinologist, but my new doctor says there's nothing to worry about, and my ultrasound was negative. Given my history of celiac disease and susceptibility to autoimmune disorders, I'm concerned about my thyroid health and would like a second opinion.
