Lately, I have been experiencing shortness of breath, particularly after climbing stairs, bending over to put on shoes or socks, or during short walks. This has worsened in the last two weeks. I do not take any specific medication for this, but I am 72 years old, had a quad bypass 20 years ago, am overweight, have rheumatoid arthritis, experienced atrial fibrillation, the flu, and pneumonia last year, and take several medications daily. I also use a CPAP machine nightly. My wife tested negative for COVID-19 this week, but I have not been tested yet. I live in East Lyme, CT, which is in a red zone for COVID-19. Should I see my heart doctor or pulmonary doctor?
