Lately, I have been finding perfectly round yellowish brown items in my stool that are about twice the size of a pea. They are soft and when broken apart have a pasty white substance inside. I found that it happens mostly when I have diarrhea, which occurs a few times a week. This started after I had a hiatal hernia repair and fundoplication about six months ago, and I also had my gallbladder removed a year ago. What could these items be and what should I do?

I have been experiencing a persistent dry cough for the last 7 months, which has recently worsened. My doctor prescribed Amoxicillin for a suspected lung infection, but I have not noticed any improvement after 4 days of treatment. I am concerned about the lack of improvement and whether I might be resistant to the antibiotic. Additionally, I am worried about other potential causes such as lung cancer or asthma. What should I do next, and are there alternative treatments or antibiotics I should consider?

My husband sleeps deeply for about 22 hours out of 24 hours a day. He has a family history of heart illnesses, had a kidney removal due to a tumor, and has been asthmatic for 18 years. He is overweight, inactive, and impotent. Blood and cardiovascular tests were all clean. Am I just paranoid or is my concern justified?
