I have recently been discharged from the hospital and referred to a Hematologist for unexplained bruising and swelling of my feet, ankles, and calves. Specialized bloodwork has been taken on the suspicion of Von Willebrand disease. What exactly is Von Willebrand's, is it life-threatening, and are treatments available? Also, if it isn't Von Willebrand's, what else might it be?

I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend and my cycle started a day later. I took Plan B, which caused my cycle to stop and start. I then experienced itching, swelling, and a creamy discharge. I used Monistat 1, but the symptoms persisted with a pink discharge that comes and goes, and a sour smell when the pink discharge is noticeable. The discharge is also creamy and watery at times. My last period started on the 12th, and I get it around the 15th regularly. I got tested for STIs over a year ago and had heavy bleeding with clots. What would you recommend for my symptoms?

My lady friend is experiencing chills, fatigue, and low energy for a week, starting the day after a 2-hour walk. She had a dry cough last week and took a COVID assessment. She is 63 years old, has successfully treated epilepsy, and is otherwise healthy. Could this be a TIA or a thyroid issue, and what should be done while waiting for the COVID test results?

I’m having a slight vaginal odor similar to vinegar, with no unusual discharge, pain, or itching. The odor seems to appear after my period for the last two months. I had a bacterial infection two months ago, took a prescription for it, and it went away. My last Pap test was three months ago with normal results, and I was prescribed a NuvaRing, which I used for one month in March. What could be causing this odor, and what can I do to address it?
