I believe I had the flu. 20 days ago I had sudden onset of a headache, very sore throat (like an allergic reaction), and fatigue. Later my chest felt pressure and tightness. I started to get better this week (14 days later) but now I have a stiff neck and still a slight headache. Is this a normal recovery time? Will I be ok?

About laser skin treatment and HSV-1 and HSV-2 risk. I've never had an outbreak in my life and am not sure if I have it. I've heard that the majority of the population has HSV-1. How can I make sure I don't have it before the laser? The tests are not accurate, as per my knowledge. Is it true that the blood test is not accurate and there are a lot of false negatives and positives? Is there a medicine I can take to prevent it just in case I do have it? Also, if I got the laser and have an outbreak, is the outbreak treatable without scars?
