My 11-year-old daughter has had a cough starting 2 days after a swim party, with no fever. She was initially prescribed amoxicillin 250mg tid, but the dosage was too low for her weight (125 lbs). She was then switched to penicillin VK 500mg bid, but the cough persists and is sometimes productive, turning green in the morning and clear or faint yellow by evening. She has some nasal congestion and throat irritation but no other significant symptoms. What could be causing the cough and what additional treatments can be considered?

I am a 61-year-old man in generally good health living in the UK with severe GERD. I suspect I have H. pylori, but my doctor won't investigate it. I took a course of Septrin for prostatitis and noticed a dramatic decrease in GERD symptoms. However, the symptoms returned once I stopped the antibiotic. My doctor prescribed Omeprazole, which has little effect. I believe the problem has a bacterial origin, but my doctor refuses to acknowledge this. What should I do?

I recently had thyroid function tests done. On 23/6/10, my TSH level was 0.36, and on 14/9/10, it was 0.84. My TPO Ab levels were elevated at 21.6, and TG Ab was 7.3. I had these tests because I've been experiencing vague body aches, quick blackouts and dizziness that resolve quickly, and constant tiredness. What could this indicate?

I met a woman and we played. There was no skin contact or penetration. I wore latex gloves and fingered her and played with her nipples. She played with my parts using latex gloves. Do I have to be worried about STDs or not?
