My 11-year-old niece has persistent and annoying scalp itching with little bumps, despite being checked for lice twice and using a special shampoo. There is no scaling, and she has not been swimming much but has been in the sun without burning. What could be causing this and what treatments can be tried?

I have a tender bump under the skin on the front of my left lower leg near the shin. It's not red or warm and has slight swelling. It recurred in the same spot four months after the first incident, which lasted about 10-14 days and disappeared completely. I thought the cause might be a bug bite, but I'm unsure. What could this bump be and should I be concerned?

I have lost 140 pounds over the past two years through diet and exercise, but I am experiencing persistent joint and foot pain, especially in my hips and feet. I have been diagnosed with tendonitis in my left foot, but treatments like anti-inflammatories and cortisone injections have not helped. Now, I am experiencing pain in my right foot, particularly the outside of my small toe, which is painful with movement but fine at rest. I suspect my spinal alignment issues, possibly due to hip dysplasia from infancy, might be contributing to these problems. I am concerned about the cost of seeing a doctor without health insurance and would like to know what steps I should take to address these issues and maintain my active lifestyle.
