My 2-year-old baby had croup cough 2 months ago and is now symptom-free except for occasional coughing in the afternoons that goes away after a steam bath. The cough is dry, and there are no signs of illness. We have done X-rays and bloodwork, which are all normal. Should I be worried, and how can we check for potential causes like asthma or reflux?

I have been experiencing diarrhea and abdominal cramps for two weeks. The cramps are localized in the lower abdomen and come and go. I am 67 years old, have high blood pressure and diabetes (both controlled), and had a bout of E. coli in the past. I am not taking any medications specifically for these symptoms, and I have not noticed any blood in my stool, which is gelatinous and foamy. I have tried Pepto-Bismol, but it has not helped. What could be causing these symptoms and what should I do?
