My 3-year-old daughter has been coughing and spitting up after coughing fits, and recently threw up a light brown greenish color after drinking milk. She is also sick with a cough, mucus, and runny nose. Should I be concerned about the color of the vomit, and what could this be? Additionally, she has been experiencing poor weight gain and her pediatrician wants us to see a GI specialist. Could the vomiting be related to her weight issues?

I had an echocardiogram done and the technician seemed pleased with the results, stating everything looked normal and there was no heart stiffness. However, my doctor mentioned heart stiffness after checking with the technician.
