What is this? It is flat, not raised, and appears as a hard patch. I had a biopsy done, but I haven't received the results yet. I'm not sure if I should be as worried as I am.

I was on Metoprolol Succ ER 100mg and Lisinopril HCTZ 20-12.5 for a few years. After side effects became too annoying, my doctor switched me to Valsartan HCTZ 80-12.5. I'm nervous about stopping beta blockers cold turkey and my blood pressure is reading 145/97 on average. Should I be worried that I wasn't weaned off the beta blocker?

I got a pelvic ultrasound result showing a thickened uterus lining and a left ovarian cyst. What could cause the thickening, and what is the probability of something serious like cancer? Additionally, why might a sonohysterogram be recommended, and is a thickness of 2.7 cm (27 mm) concerning even if it's just before the period?
