My 76-year-old mother, who has leukemia in remission, injured her foot. She experienced swelling and bruising around her ankle, and is unable to point and flex her foot. She did not fall but stood up after her leg fell asleep, causing pain. She is currently using medications including Rosuvastatin, Tolixin, Amlodipine, and Bisoprolol. What should I do to assess her condition and should she see a doctor immediately?

I was vomiting night before last and today my chest feels tight. I am 61 years old, female, and have asthma. I take a daily inhaler 'wixela', methamizol, and benadryl to help me sleep. I also took Ibuprofen. I am not vomiting anymore but have a little trouble breathing. What could be causing my chest tightness and should I be concerned?

I have been taking prednisone to reduce inflammation due to lupus. Is there any over-the-counter medicine I can take instead of prednisone while waiting for plaquenil to work? My inflammation symptoms come and go for a few days at a time.

Is there a risk of getting HIV, Hepatitis B, C, or other STDs if a nurse accidentally pricks herself with a needle before injecting me or my child, and then I or my child gets pricked by the same needle, assuming the nurse is infected with these viruses?

Could someone explain what something means on doctor notes report? Specifically, what does 'Assessment/plan: This appears to be edematous lesion the bone verses atypical meningioma versus a notochordal rest. This is not appear to have any features of infectious inflammation or malignancy.' mean?
