My 89-year-old father was recently diagnosed with a large GIST cancer (26 x 12 cm) that has spread to his liver. He is currently on 200mg of Gleevec and also taking Methotrexate for Rheumatoid Arthritis. His kidney function is around 35. Should he undergo genetic testing for GIST, and would biologics be a better option for his Rheumatoid Arthritis due to his low kidney function?

I am in a lot of lower back pain and had an MRI that showed L5 S1 damage, but I don't think this is the area causing my pain. I would like to ask questions and follow up on other health issues.

Do psychiatric medications make your mental condition worse? I was taking Fluoxetine and Respirdol, and I experienced side effects such as hearing voices, talking excessively, saying stupid things, and having suicidal thoughts. Additionally, I am looking for a place in Miami-Dade County for a mental health evaluation and want to know where to make a complaint against a doctor who deemed me unfit to care for my children.

I have been experiencing sore throat, chest pain, and difficulty breathing. I have Guillain-Barré syndrome, but before it affects my lungs, it usually affects my legs first. My oxygen level is 98%, and my lungs sound clear with a normal chest X-ray. I'm concerned about a blood clot in my lungs and have had multiple tests, including 6 CT scans of my lungs, 15 ECGs, and various MRIs. I also had a false positive for Lyme disease. What could be causing my symptoms, and should I be concerned about a blood clot or autoimmune disease?
