My brother needs a liver transplant. He has no insurance, was discharged from the Army for selling drugs, and fought in Vietnam at 18. He is currently getting fluid drained almost every 3 days and is dying. I believe the government owes him help. What resources or assistance can be provided for his situation?

My daughter has been experiencing severe dry mouth, burning tongue, and tongue pain for the past 5 days, along with a recent vertigo attack. She has a history of wheat allergy, gout, and frequent vertigo attacks. The ER doctor suggested it might be coxsackie virus, but she doesn't have typical symptoms like malaise or rashes. What could be causing her symptoms?

I have a raised, red blemish that is round and slightly raised, about 1/8" in diameter, which has been present for about 2 weeks and may have slightly increased in size. It looks like a pimple but without any pus or fluid inside, and I have tried to squeeze it with some blood and a little white pus coming out initially. What could this be, and how should I treat it with Betadine?

I have muscle spasms all over my body, frequently causing severe pain that requires me to lie down until they subside. These spasms most often occur in the abdomen, starting in the right chest/back area and extending to the mid-abdomen, affecting the same muscles each time. My feet, toes, hands, and fingers are also frequently affected, with my left big toe sometimes standing straight up on its own. Cold temperatures and muscle hyperextension can trigger these spasms. I am a 50-year-old female with a history of asthma, pneumonia, chronic urinary tract infections, and back/neck problems including multiple degenerative discs and a torn disc at L4-5. My symptoms have been ongoing for about 2-3 years, becoming more frequent and painful. My family has a history of muscle/bone pains, rheumatoid arthritis, and lupus. What could be causing these spasms and what tests or treatments might be recommended?
