My dad, who is 76 years old, has been told he is not currently healthy enough to undergo surgery to repair an abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) due to breathing weakness and low functioning kidneys (27%). He has a 5.2 cm AAA, COPD, and concerns about potential kidney damage from the dye used during surgery. What can he do to improve his health for surgery, how large can the AAA get before rupture, and what activities should he avoid to prevent worsening his condition?

I have moderate bilateral facet joint arthritis at L4-L3, which is causing back pain, bowel movement issues, and frequent urination. The disc at this level is healthy. Additionally, why would a pain management specialist choose to treat the interior of the facet joint rather than the exterior, and what questions should I be asking to better understand the treatment options?

My back of the leg is sore around my ankle and under my foot sometimes when I walk. The lump is just swollen around my ankle, about the size of a 20 cent piece, feels like fluid but is a little hard. What could this be?
