My endocrinologist thinks I have Pseudo Cushing's. My morning ACTH (serum, not suppressed) is slightly high, and I failed a 1mg dex suppression test with a slightly high result. However, 3 midnight salivary cortisol tests were negative and a 24-hour urine test was negative. I do not have the classic physical symptoms of Cushing's except that I am overweight. I have high BP and am insulin resistant. Why are my morning values high?

I have had diarrhea and vomiting for 7 days now. I was treated with IV fluids on day 2 but things are still not better. The diarrhea is constant, occurring about 12 times per day, and I have nausea, fatigue, and no appetite. I take Topamax, elavil, and betahistamine, and have used zofan and Tylenol PRN. I am 52 years old and have a medical history including a partial nephrectomy in 2014 for renal cell carcinoma, a TUBRT in 2015 for clear cell carcinoma, and an RNY in 2002 with a revision in 2021. What should I do?

I have been experiencing stomach issues for the past few months, which have worsened in the last couple of days. I have nausea but no vomiting, intermittent abdominal pain in the lower side, and fluctuating bowel movements from constipation to diarrhea to fluffy shredded stools. This morning, my stool was darker than usual, and I have been experiencing stomach chills for the past hour. I am concerned about sepsis and other diseases. Should I go to a doctor, and is this serious?

I'm dizzy, my bones are hurting, and I have tingling in my arms. I felt fine when I woke up but now I'm experiencing these symptoms. The pain is constant and feels sore. I'm 39 years old, have no known medical problems, and don't take any medications. What could be causing these symptoms?

My 83-year-old mother slipped from her bed to the floor, hitting her forehead. She now has a small knot on her forehead, and I've applied ice and massaged the area. Her blood pressure was initially elevated but has since normalized. She remembers the incident and can talk and move around okay. She mentioned a slight tingle in her right hand, which has since disappeared. Should I take her to the hospital?

I stood up too quickly and now I have a sharp pain over my left chest when I take a deep breath. It only hurts when I take in breaths. I also have a fused spine (T6-L2) due to kyphosis and chronic fatigue syndrome. Could this be a pulmonary embolism (P.E.)?
