My fiancé is 26 years old and has had high blood pressure (BP) since he was 14. His average BP is 140/96 when medicated, but it often rises to over 200/100. He takes 50 mg of Atenolol daily and experiences symptoms like regular nosebleeds, headaches, and shortness of breath.
