My husband had a CBC done three times, and his platelets were low (MPV was elevated all three times) and his WBCs were low all three times (auto neutrophils were normal all three times but absolute neutrophils were slightly low). He tested negative for HIV, hep B and C, and EBV. B12 was low normal and folate was normal. He is 70, diabetic and has HTN, both well controlled with diet, exercise and medication. He feels fine, has no symptoms, and his red blood cells are normal. What could be causing these results, and what further tests or evaluations are recommended?

My 3-year-old daughter has been coughing and spitting up after coughing fits, and recently threw up a light brown greenish color after drinking milk. She is also sick with a cough, mucus, and runny nose. Should I be concerned about the color of the vomit, and what could this be?
