🏥  Medical

My husband is currently in Wisconsin and is flying home tomorrow. He noticed a lump in his testicles; it is swollen; he is in pain; and he is having white discharge. I would like to get an appointment for him with a urologist tomorrow afternoon if possible. He noticed the discharge just yesterday. The lump was noticed the prior day. The swelling has gotten very significant as each day passes. He does not have medication for it. However, he was recently prescribed meds for serious pain with L4 in his back...he is usually very healthy and this has happened simultaneously. The prescriptions are: Tramadol 50 mg. 1 tab every 8 hours; Zolpidem 10 mg. 1 at bedtime; and Meloxicam 15 mg. 1 tablet per day. He occasionally takes an Excedrin PM or Ambien for sleep when we're working on the road and he struggles with sleep. In April, he had a surgery for a bilateral hernia in his groin. Dr. Ryan Neff did the surgery and it was very successful and my husband did very well...very short recovery. He is ordinarily a very healthy man. Why should he go to the ER rather than Urgent Care, and what are orchitis and epididymitis?
