I missed my period in October and had a light, painful period in November that only lasted three days, which is abnormal for me. I'm not on birth control and tested negative for pregnancy. What could be causing this and what should I do?

Earlier today, I experienced a runny nose, altered taste perception with Gatorade and donuts, fatigue, and diarrhea that was green despite not eating anything green recently. I had no fever, vomiting, or coughing. Could this be due to allergies, a cold, or should I be concerned about COVID-19 or the flu?

I am a 69-year-old female with cold-like symptoms, a hacking cough, and a slight fever for the last 3-4 days. I went to a walk-in clinic for a COVID test and was prescribed Doxycycline. I am also on blood pressure and thyroid medications. I am concerned about the side effects and effectiveness of Doxycycline given my symptoms and medical history, which includes a history of pneumonia. Should I continue taking the antibiotic until I know the COVID test results, or is it safe to discontinue it?
