My 81-year-old father has severe edema and ulcerating sores. He was treated with Unna Boots for eight weeks, but the sores reappeared after removal. He is currently taking double doses of Lasix and potassium chloride, and has redness around his ankles after wearing compression socks. His legs also show signs of scaliness and a scabbed ulcer. Should I be concerned about the medical advice he's receiving, and if the sores return within 24 hours, should I seek another opinion?

I have a small sore on my upper thigh that I'm worried could be syphilis or another STD. I also experience sensations of peeing my pants or a tickling at the tip of my penis. I'm anxious about this and wonder if I'm overthinking it and causing the issue.
