I just had two days of chronic hives, followed by lab results showing high lymphocyte absolute count (3.3) and slightly elevated glucose (117) and A1C (5.9). I have never experienced hives before. What could be the cause of these symptoms and what should I do next?

My mother-in-law is 87 years old and has had a persistent cough for over a month, which keeps her awake all night. Her high blood pressure is currently 204/80. She has had high blood pressure since 1993 and is taking over 7 different medications daily. She also has a history of thyroid issues and heart problems. What additional information should be considered to help diagnose and manage her condition?

I occasionally see black specks in my stool. Should this be concerning, especially since I eat a lot of black pepper, blueberries, and sometimes black beans? I have IBS and take omeprazole, Bentyl, iron, and vitamin D supplements. I've seen a GI specialist, and my blood panels have been normal except for being iron and vitamin D deficient. I've also had some weight loss and suffer from anxiety.

I have a hoarse voice in the morning, not all the time, sometimes other parts of the day. I had half of my thyroid removed. I clear my throat often, there is nothing to clear. I can feel swelling. Is this something serious?

My mother recently had a colonoscopy and has been feeling pain all over her body, particularly across her back and left shoulder. She has arthritis and is unable to take anything except Tylenol for the next few days. I am worried that the pain is due to some other complication other than gas. Could this be something more serious? Please advise.
