I was prescribed Roxithromycin 150mg twice a day for a sinus infection. I have two main concerns: 1) Does this antibiotic affect birth control? 2) I have an intense fear of vomiting. Is roxithromycin more gentle or well tolerated compared to amoxicillin, and how common is vomiting on this antibiotic?

I stopped taking Prozac two months ago and am now experiencing severe sleep issues with restless legs and increasing depression. I was diagnosed with Major Depression over 20 years ago and the main side effects of Prozac were loss of libido and memory loss. I have seen doctors about these issues but they were dismissed as age-related. I also have asthma, which is well-controlled. I have been taking PPI (proton pump inhibitors) since 2015, and recently, I have been feeling heavy and tired after taking Nexium. I have reduced my PPI intake to 2-3 times a week, but I am concerned about the risks associated with long-term PPI use, such as stroke, heart attack, and kidney failure.
