I didnāt take my Coumadin or heparin for a full day and had a d dimer test. It was undetectable. Doctor says this is accurate and rules out PE- is this true?

I ran a small stick into the upper part of my foot about a week ago. It is slightly red, a little sore with some pus, and I suspect a splinter. I have a doctor's appointment next Wednesday. Is it okay to wait until then?

I am a 35-year-old man who has had a potential exposure to HIV 14 days ago. While I will get tested, I am waiting for the 18-day window period to be able to get a finger prick test. My only symptoms at the moment (which started about 5 days ago) include a mildly sore throat (dull, constant ache next to the windpipe and sensitive to touch) and a bit of a stiff neck and upper back. I have no other symptoms such as fever, headache, rash, swollen lymph nodes, mouth ulcers, or other muscle or joint pain. My question is if my symptoms are likely to be HIV symptoms.

If I took a lorazepam 1mg and then a 10mg propranolol beta blocker, or vice versa, how long should I wait between doses, and are they safe to take together? Also, how long does it take for propranolol to slow the heart rate?
