I am 33 years old and recently had a CT scan showing an enlarged ascending aorta of 4.2 cm. I also have a slow heart rate and bounding heartbeats, especially at night, which started recently. I have been working out (lifting weights) for 3 years and taking protein shakes. Could these factors be related to my enlarged aorta and heartbeats?
