My Mom feels sick. She is 63 years old, has diabetes type 2, and feels weakness, especially in the mornings. She has been using medication for 3 days, but I'm not sure what exactly. Her blood sugar level is currently 10.9, usually around 7.6. She had a gastrectomy. What could be causing her weakness and what should we check?

I just got my yearly blood tests done and my vitamin D level is a little low. My doctor prescribed me D3 and told me to take 1000 IU per day. I read that too much D3 can cause cancer. How much is too much and does that figure include dietary D3? Additionally, in the last year, I have had a head CT, three head X-rays, and I tend to use my cell phone a lot. I know cell phones emit radiation, and given the number of X-rays I've had, I'm worried about my risk of a brain tumor. What is my risk of a brain tumor?
