My mother was prescribed gabapentin for her feet, which are very painful, hot, swollen, itchy, and red. All her tests have shown everything is okay, but something is clearly wrong that the doctor is not finding. Recently, she was hospitalized for an infection in her lower intestine and was very sick. She is currently taking Advair, Synthroid, Estradiol, gabapentin, and zolpidem tartrate. Can you help?

I am 46 years old and was diagnosed with ADD at the age of 23. My son was also diagnosed with ADD and we both started taking Ritalin. My life improved significantly, but I have been off medication for two years to see if I could manage without it. I have struggled with focus and have quit two semesters of college. I am considering going back on medication to improve my quality of life. I took 20 mg of Ritalin three times a day. What do you think?
