My primary care physician (PCP) will not prescribe any thyroid medications for me because my TSH is in the 'normal' range. He only prescribes antidepressants. I've been experiencing hyperthyroid symptoms for almost four years and no one will help me. Even the endocrinologists I've seen only rely on lab results and not symptoms. What can I do?

What are some remedies for my son who has asthma and his inhaler is not working? He is experiencing coughing, shortness of breath, and pain, and has been hospitalized five times for asthma, requiring overnight stays on a breathing machine and hourly steroids.

I have an ejection fraction of 32% with persistent nausea and vomiting. I was told I don't need gallbladder surgery but should see a gastroenterologist. How long have you had the nausea, have you used any medication for it, and is there anything else in your medical history the doctor should know?

Hello, I recently had a blood test for liver. In the past, all levels were fine, but this time I had a slight elevation in AST at 46. ALT was normal, as were all other tests. I had these tests done following what we believed to be gallbladder spasms. The spasms went away before ultrasound, which indicated nothing was wrong, and no stones present. I am having a follow-up blood test done in 9 days to see if levels have settled. But this has me worried (I have health anxiety and hate tests!). How concerned should I be?

I have a fistula that has connected to the uterus. Can it be repaired laparoscopically? I have had the fistula for two weeks and am taking cipro. I have not seen an OB/GYN about it yet, but I have seen a urologist who sent me for a CT scan. I also have diverticulosis, but I am not on any medication except for cipro.
