My sister has been diagnosed with a nontuberculosis mycobacterial lung infection and has been prescribed Zithromax 250mg daily, Ethambutol 800mg daily, and Rifampin 450mg daily for a year. She is concerned about the side effects, especially from Ethambutol. Is this treatment typical and safe?

I had a drug test a couple of days ago after taking 3 Vicodins within the past 24 hours. I replaced my urine sample with clean urine, but there might have been 1cc of my urine left, which was diluted with 35cc of clean urine. Would the test still be positive for Vicodin?

My dad had a heavy nosebleed on Thursday evening and because he was on warfarin, they suggested he go to the hospital for blood tests. They confirmed his INR was 2.9 and that there were no problems in the results they saw. However, today he is coughing up some darkish blood with his phlegm. Should we be concerned? He is 86.
