I have a giant hairy nevus (congenital) on my lower back that extends down my left thigh. It has grown significantly since childhood and is now rough, dark, and covered in hair. I've tried laser treatment without success and am concerned about cancer risk. Can the nevus be removed as an adult, and what procedures are available for adults? Should I see a dermatologist or a plastic surgeon for this issue?

I have had a neurogenic bladder since childhood and have been on a suprapubic catheter since age 21. Recently, I have become incontinent, experiencing several 'wetting myself' episodes a day. I am taking Sanctura, which reduces the episodes to 1 or 2 in a 24-hour period. Do you think I'm a good candidate for the AMS artificial urinary sphincter, and could you explain the procedure to me?
