My son, aged 59, has had a deep cough for over a month, worse at night, sounding nasally with constantly plugged ears. The cough comes and goes, mostly dry, with no chest pain. My girlfriend and I had sex on December 26th, but I never ejaculated inside her. She took two emergency contraceptive pills (ECP) on December 28th. Her expected period was on January 2nd, but she started having blood spots on January 4th and bleeding on January 5th, which she described as scary bleeding. After that, she had no bleeding but experienced lower abdominal pain, which has now subsided. She is 26 years old and was very stressed during this time. Is there anything to worry about? Are there any signs of pregnancy?

I'm concerned about liver cirrhosis. My bloodwork is normal, and an ultrasound showed a subtle increase in echotexture possibly due to fatty liver and an increase in liver echogenicity. My liver measures 14.9 cm. My symptoms are occasionally itchy skin, sometimes right abdomen pain, and red palms. Could I have decompensated liver cirrhosis with these symptoms? Should I see a hepatologist?
