My son has fevers that last for 6-7 days when he gets sick. His WBC and ANC were low during his last illness, and he had a normal EBV test. His CRP was also normal. The recent blood work showed normal absolute neutrophil count and immunoglobulins, but I'm concerned about the lymphocytes and poikilocytes seen in the blood test. Could this indicate a more serious condition like cancer or autoimmune disease?
