My knee became painful on Saturday. The symptoms are better with no swelling, but worse when climbing stairs. I am a 72-year-old overweight male with just minor stiffness when getting up from the floor. Chest x-rays were clear, and blood work showed normal results, except for three categories marked as 'abnormal': Lymphocytes, Monocytes, and Absolute Lymphocytes.
