My wife, 79 years old, had a mastectomy on September 23, 2019 (left side) and has been developing seroma since October 2. The surgeon has been draining the fluid, but it keeps recurring. The surgeon plans to monitor for 3 months and may refer her to a plastic surgeon for reconstruction if the seroma doesn't resolve. I'm concerned about the ongoing issue and seeking a second opinion, but the doctor I was referred to wanted to transfer me to another associate, which I declined. What can we do now? My wife is on several medications including Benicar, Clopidogrel Bisulfate, Anastrozole, and Alendronate Sodium. She was not prescribed antibiotics after discharge. Should we ask our surgeon for a referral to a plastic surgeon, and will this affect our relationship with her?

I have been diagnosed with acute prostatitis and have been prescribed ciprofloxacin after Bactrim did not fully resolve the issue. I am concerned about the duration of the antibiotic treatment, the use of CBD, and other pain relief options like Aleve and Azo. Additionally, I am curious about the impact of this condition on my blood pressure and whether it is safe to engage in sexual activity or use alcohol for relaxation. What are your recommendations?

Can my 6-year-old son go without stitches after being hit on the head by a 5-pound weight thrown by my 2-year-old? The bleeding has stopped, and he is not in pain and is aware.

My husband has had severe stomach pain around his belly button for 4 days, along with low-grade fever, no appetite, and bad lower back pain. This started after he took a high blood pressure pill prescribed on 6/3. He also takes medication for acid reflux and has been drinking water, Gatorade, and taking Tylenol. What should we do?

Is it true that if you eat a very low calorie diet like about 700 calories a day, you will lose weight quickly, but as soon as you start eating again, you will gain it all back even if you don’t overeat and just eat normally?

I had my gallbladder removed several years ago. Now my stomach is extremely distended and painful for the past two days. I've tried various gas medications, including drinking baking soda and warm water, but nothing has helped. I also had a gastric sleeve three years ago. What could be causing this and what should I do?
