My wife, a breast cancer survivor with paraneoplastic syndrome (PNPS), was treated with 40mg of prednisone for 3 weeks followed by a 6-week taper. She has experienced bobble head, weakness, and wobbly effects since stopping the steroid. How long will these symptoms last?

I was diagnosed with shingles and was prescribed 500 mg Valtrex, which is now finished. I had the shingles shot last year. Should I get the prescription renewed? I have a minor rash in two places, one near my right kidney and the other near my umbilicus. The rash is more annoying than an issue at this point. I took the Valtrex 6 times daily for about a week. I am diabetic with high blood pressure and associated prescriptions.

I have a swollen, painful gland on the right side of my neck for over 6 months, periodic fever blisters or sores on my tongue on the same side, and periodic sinus congestion on the same side. I'm 50 years old, and my daughter (16) was diagnosed with Mono 7 months ago. Could I have Mono at my age? What other conditions could be causing these symptoms?
