We conducted a drug test on an adolescent today using Focalin, and the drug test was negative. I thought methylphenidate would show up as amphetamine in a point-of-care urine drug test. Is this a time-sensitive issue? What type of specimen are they testing? Anything else in the medical history that the Doctor should know?

I have been experiencing extreme dizziness, headaches, fatigue, nausea, and ear ringing for about a month. My headaches are sharp and throbbing, located at the top and back of my head. I recently went through a severe anti-depressant withdrawal and am currently dealing with severe depression, anxiety, and a lack of appetite. What could be causing these symptoms and what can I do to alleviate them?
