What does pain in your lower left abdomen mean? The pain started 18 hours ago and comes and goes. It is achey, located just above the waistline on the left side, and there is pain when pressing that area. There is discomfort going to the bathroom, but no urinary pain. I am 22 years old and have tried Motrin without relief.
