What is my doctor looking for when scheduling an ultrasound for a small bump on my back-lower mid back, which could be a lipoma or a sebaceous cyst? The lump is not very mobile but can be moved slightly, and I have had it for 3 to 4 months with no pain or changes in color or itching. I am 77 years old and currently taking water pills, perindopril, a tiny dose of synthroid, and a statin.

I have had constant mucus and throat clearing since I was very young, and I'm now 57 years old. I don't have other symptoms except for a persistent drip from my nose that never stops. I want to know what over-the-counter medicine can help dry up the drip and mucus. I've tried Claritin D but don't remember it being very effective. Is there anything besides Claritin D that can help?
