When I went to A&E last Saturday, the doctor gave me norethisterone. I told him I can't take hormonal birth control due to my migraines with aura, which increases stroke risk. He said it's progesterone-only so not a problem. I didn't end up taking it as my bleeding stopped. My acupuncturist advised I take it now, but I just read the package insert and it says NOT to take it if you have migraine with aura. Which is correct? I also have the option to take tranexamic acid but I had hoped to go down the progesterone route if that is safe. Additionally, I had a scan that showed an area in the fundal part of the endometrium with a lot of blood flow, and I'm worried this could mean cancer. The ovaries looked okay, but there was free fluid in the pouch of Douglas. My endometrial thickness was 15.47mm. I am terrified and need reassurance that this is not cancer.

My autistic son is regressing. He used to be very independent but now needs help with many skills, such as dressing. He holds his shorts and lifts his leg but doesn't put them on. He used to automatically buckle his seat belt and wash his hands, but now requires reminders. He had normal MRI and EEG results. What could be causing this regression and what further tests should be considered?

I am experiencing lower right abdominal pain and irregular menstrual cycles. I have been to the doctor multiple times, had ultrasounds, blood work, and all tests came back normal. My ovaries are fine, and I am trying to get pregnant. What could be causing the pain and irregular cycles?

I was given a Holter monitor for 24 hours and changed my blood pressure medicine from labetalol to metoprolol tartrate. The Holter monitor results showed an average heart rate of 125 bpm, a low of 47 bpm, and a high of 242 bpm. The doctor diagnosed mild tachycardia due to anxiety and prescribed Wellbutrin. I have been trying to lose weight and manage my high blood pressure, which tends to rise with stress. I am concerned about the wide range in heart rate and whether the high reading of 242 bpm could be due to movement or if it indicates something more serious. Should I wait a month for a cardiologist referral, or is it safe to taper off beta blockers and Wellbutrin?

I have been experiencing diarrhea for nearly three months, despite taking Imodium, Buscopan, and Ciprofloxacin. I also had been on Metformin 1000mg since July 2013, but stopped recently. I still have watery rumbling in my belly and need to defecate immediately. What could be causing this and what should I do?

I have a pain under my heel that started with a little swelling on the right side and then moved to the left side and underneath the foot. The pain is mostly when walking and was about a 9 initially, but now it's around a 4. I'm 34 years old and recently walked up and down stairs a lot at work. I'm concerned it might be related to heart disease. What could be causing this pain and what should I do?
