I have fibromyalgia and have seen multiple specialists including my primary doctor, a neuropath, a rheumatologist, and a gastroenterologist. I am allergic to lyrica and cymbalta, which are treatments for fibromyalgia. I am 71 years old, 5'4" tall, and weigh 103 pounds due to a lack of appetite. My both sisters have leukoencephalopathy. Could this be a factor in my issues?

I am 64 years old and have experienced lower abdominal swelling with a feeling like a balloon in my intestines for several months. This swelling only occurs when I come home to a place that causes me depression, and it subsides when I leave. My family Nurse Practitioner ordered a CScan, which showed nothing. I take 40 mg of Citalopram and have been feeling much better, but the swelling persists. My husband and I are considering relocating, and I have found a house closer to my job, which brings me peace. My abdomen hasn't swelled since hearing the good news of our potential relocation. Could depression and unhappiness be causing this abdominal swelling, and should we relocate?
