Why does the Voltaren gel packaging say not to use it on hips or shoulders? I've been using it for hip and lower back pain before it became an OTC medicine, and it worked really well. I have fibromyalgia and am unsure what's safe to take for a headache when using Voltaren gel.

I have a consistent problem with abdominal pain that gets so intense I'm unable to move or stand up, especially on the first day of my period. I usually end up lightheaded, dizzy, and vomiting due to the pain. Sometimes bowel movements help relieve the pain, but not always completely. My stomach has been finicky with food since the last episode, getting full quickly and sparking more abdominal pain. I've had this pain since middle school, linked with my period since high school, and it has been getting worse over time. The pain is an intense ache, mostly centered around my belly button, and spikes to sharp stabbing pain if I try to move. I'm 24 years old, taking Sertraline for anxiety and Doxycycline Hyclate for rosacea. I've had scans like a CT scan and a colonoscopy, but they didn't provide useful information. What could be causing this pain and what should I do about it?

My husband had heart stents done in July. He feels better but has slight pressure in the heart on and off and yawns a lot. Is that dangerous?

I have a persistent lesion on my leg that started as a tiny, black, hard dot in July. It was scratched off and picked more recently, and now it looks different. I've been told it could be a cherry angioma, a usual mole, a blocked follicular pore, or a sebaceous cyst. I want to understand what exactly it is and if it will continue to look like this even after healing. Can you help me understand?

What risks are associated with quitting drinking slowly? I drink about 15 oz of whiskey a night, and have for about 2 years. I am just starting to cut back, last night I had only 4 oz with no odd feelings. I am not taking any medications and have noticed my BP was significantly high. Are there things I should look out for?

Can you interpret this for me? It's for my 12-year-old girl. The impression from the ultrasound is a stable isoechoic nodule along the inferior aspect of the left thyroid, which may represent a small parenchymal lobulation, an exophytic thyroid nodule, or less likely parathyroid tissue. The thyroid parenchyma is homogeneous and mildly hypervascular. The left thyroid lobe measures 1.6 x 1.7 x 4.4 cm, and there is an isoechoic nodule measuring 0.6 x 0.6 x 0.6 cm, previously 0.6 x 0.6 x 0.7 cm. Her TSH level was elevated to 6.22. She has no symptoms or medication, a bit of constipation occasionally, and is extremely active. What does this mean and what should be done next?
