My 57-year-old mother is experiencing pelvic pain, difficulty lifting her legs, and standing up straight. She walks with a waddle and the pain is more pronounced when stepping with her right foot. She has no history of back pain or recent trauma, but she did strain her hip walking down a grassy hill in heels a few days ago. What could be causing her pain and what should she do?

Three months ago, I had a bone graft to repair a non-union clavicle fracture. Although it is healing, the process is slow, and there are 'white spots' in the x-ray, with the union line still visible. Additionally, I have developed a significant skin eruption at the end of the scar on my shoulder, which the doctor believes is a metal allergy, and the plate will need to be removed in a year. How can I make the healing happen faster, and can I do something to minimize the metal reaction?

I've been experiencing unusual symptoms over the last two weeks, including morning depression, constant tiredness, lower abdominal and groin cramping, lightheadedness, random cravings, and smelling things that others can't. I also felt extremely nauseous after drinking wine coolers and coffee. Is my body changing, and could these symptoms be related to a hormonal issue or pregnancy?

My mother, who is 78 years old, has been suffering with a painful condition on her tongue for over 18 years. Despite multiple surgeries and treatments, including attempts to freeze the area, she remains in constant pain. She has been denied morphine and is now in the hospital after a suicide attempt. What further treatments or pain relief options are available for her?

I have been diagnosed with a small amount of ascites (approx 3cm) discovered by ultrasound, with normal blood and urine tests. I have been a moderate heavy drinker of beer and some wine. I intend to stop drinking alcohol immediately. Is this condition reversible and what is the prognosis for this condition?
