Can I get a second opinion on Mycoplasma genitalium? I had unprotected sex last March and September, and since January, I've had on and off irritation, mostly mild, that sometimes extends from my clitorus to my anal area. I am a 53-year-old female experiencing mood swings, anxiety, significant weight gain, and irregular periods. My last period was four months ago, and I do not use contraceptives. I have tried various diets and exercise routines but have not seen results. My sleep pattern has worsened, and I wake up every two hours with racing thoughts. My primary doctor has run tests for blood sugar, cholesterol, and thyroid, all of which came back normal. They refuse to run further tests or prescribe weight loss medications. How can I address these issues, and where can I find a doctor who specializes in these problems?

I have been diagnosed with trichomoniasis numerous times over the past two years and it has not gone away with treatment. I am 42 years old, take blood pressure medication (Amlodipine 10 mg daily and Bystolic 2.5 mg as needed), and vitamin D3 once a week. I have been treated with metronidazole numerous times. My husband at the time was also treated, but we are no longer married and I haven't been sexually active since. What other treatment options are available for me?
