Every time I go to have sex, it is super painful even before penetration. The pain is localized on the outside of the vagina and started after being sexually abused. The pain is described as stabbing and sharp. I have never been to an OB/GYN before. What could be causing this pain and what should I do?

I am confused about when I got pregnant. My OB says I'm 10 weeks and 5 days pregnant, but when I calculate back on my calendar, it says September 5th, which doesn't seem right. Am I doing something wrong?

I've been suffering from recurrent bacterial vaginosis (BV) for the past 2 years. I've tested negative for ureaplasma/mycoplasma, stopped having sex, and my OB/GYN has me taking clindamycin cream, but it doesn't seem to help anymore. What could be causing recurring BV, and does it play a role in abdominal pain during intercourse or when using the bathroom?

I am currently on the NuvaRing and my insurance switched my brand to a generic brand. I have not taken any break between insertion. Will I be immediately protected with this new brand or do I need to worry about not being protected due to the brand switch?
